March for Life 2008

The March for Life sponsored by the Saskatchewan Pro Life Association was held on May 2, 2008 in Regina.

There were 500 people attending the March which began at the Legislative Grounds and proceeded down Albert Street to the Museum of Natural History and back to the Legislative grounds.

Following the March, speakers presented their experience of an abortion and the many mental and physical problems they have encountered since then. The group is known as "Silent No More". The speakers also stated that they still regret having an abortion and referred to it as murder of a child.

Their talks were very graphic and many in the audience had tears in their eyes.

Large numbers of Catholic Women’s League and Knights of Columbus members where in attendance to support the Pro Life Association.
